They do not call themselves Afro Cubans they are just Cuban. As in Jamaica which has a multitude of ethnicities the saying is out of many one people. It means that one country had lots of ethnicities but the culture is one.

Most Yorubas who are hypocrites would love to see part of their group flourishing across the oceans around the world, but they would not ask themselves why? The truth behind their success is that they continue to build on their ancestors’ foundation despite all they went through during slave era. Yorubas in West Africa refused to take this courageous way, but chose to be second class to foreign traditions, religions and many more. I salute Yorubas in diasporas who are building on their ancestors foundations.

Kudos to generations of Yoruba families, who despite all odds, hardships and forced family separations, held on to the tradition that made it possible for us to witness in 2021. They are the real heros. Regarding Yorubas in Nigeria, i am lost for words on how to describe our level of traditional disregard. I would make it a duty to pass my traditional knowledge to my next generation.
